Dear LISTENERS: Having observed the power of music to relax, comfort, and heal people, I have planned for some time to make a recording of healing music, but the specific impulse for completing this recording now was to make it a gift to my mother, who was diagnosed with cancer quite suddenly this past summer. She died before the project could be completed, but she loved to hear the flutes when I played for her in the hospital.

All the music was spontaneously improvised in The TANK, which is a large empty railroad water tank with an extremely long reverberation time. During the recording sessions, the musicians bonded in a miraculous way and found great peace and joy. We send this music out to you in the hope that by listening to our music you will also feel the healing that music and art can bring to life, and our world will thereby become a healthier, more peaceful place for all of us.

Peace and Blessings to you all,

Mary C. Jungerman 1/16/06

Proceeds from the sale of this recording will enable the musicians to produce future recordings of peaceful music for the world. We thank all our buyers for their participation in this project.
